What is included in each class that we promote?
Each themed class is approximately 30 minutes in length. This includes a stretching session in the beginning of the class, completion of the various routines, such as dance and imaginative sports, a cool down session and then a review session at the very end. We find that it is so important to remind the children to stretch as we can not only review parts of the body but also the negative effects that could occur if we failed to stretch before performing any type of physical activity. We also prefer to hold a review session at the end so that the children can reflect on the the place that we "traveled" throughout the class and what they learned, along with their favorite parts of course. After all, we love hearing feedback from the little ones too!
What types of routines are included in each class?
Themed fitness classes?!
We don't just offer your typical fitness class. Nope, instead we offer themed fitness classes! What does that mean for your child? They will use their imagination to "see" places and animals around the world while going through the motions of the fitness class. We don't just include basic jumping jacks and sit ups in the routines because, let's be honest, how much fun would that possibly be for the kids? Instead the kids might use their imagination to take a trip to the jungle or the beach and move the way an octopus does in the water. Now that's fun!
Our studio is your studio. Yep, that's right! We wanted to locate our classes where they would be most convenient for you. This means we will come to you to teach a fitness class, whether it is in your back yard, your daycare or school classroom or the local park. Where we teach our classes to your children is completely up to you!
